To master your thoughts and feelings you first have to know what you’re thinking and how you’re feeling. This may sound silly because of course you know what you’re thinking and feeling, right?
Well, most people don't actually know this.
👉 They are not aware of their thoughts and feelings for the main part of the day.
👉 They are not aware that most of the time, they are thinking and feeling exactly the same as they did yesterday and the day before that.
That is because most of our thoughts and feelings are automatic. What we think and how we feel is mostly determined by our habits and environment.
We get up in the morning and go through the same routine as we do every day, and we wake up in the same surroundings, go to the same job every day, shop at the same supermarket etc. All these habitual actions and impressions stimulate the same thoughts and feelings in us – this is how we work, this is how our brain works.
